What we stand for
Homemade food, fair terms and community
In Garagen on Ny Banegårdsgade, people of over 40 nationalities cook authentic dishes in more than 30 kitchens. Since we opened in August 2016, we have been the city's largest food market, with more than 1.5 million guests a year.
Honest prices
A good meal should be affordable. The focus is on great food, not airs and graces.
Not-for-profit stalls
With no "cut" taken from the kitchens’ turnover, there is room for good ingredients and time to cook.

Table booking
Book a table in Grøn Stue
Seats up to 180 guests.
You can book a table if there are at least 6 of you. If there are fewer, just find a free spot at one of the long tables in Garagen.
Tables can't be booked on Friday and Saturday evenings. When we're at our busiest, ALL seats are in rotation: 1,000 seats under one roof and another 800 outside. That way there's room for everyone, even when it's very busy. We look forward to seeing you in Garagen!

Street Credits – our own currency
A simple solution for larger groups: hand the tokens out to everyone in your party, and they can pay with them at all the kitchens and bars.

- Buy them any time, directly at Den Blå Bar.
- DKK 2,000 or more
- Pre-order at booking@aarhusstreetfood.com no later than 3 working days before you arrive, and we will have them packed and ready for you at Den Blå Bar.
- Paying by invoice
- If you would like an invoice, order at least 2 weeks ahead. Payment must be registered before the Street Credits are handed over.
- Never expire
- Street Credits cannot be refunded – but they never expire.

For collections there's free 10-minute parking at the far end of the car park, close to the back entrance.

Friendly, well-behaved dogs on a lead are very welcome, both inside and out.

Lost property can be collected from Kaffebaren by the entrance.
